The IP address is only one part of the digital identity.

An automated environment may differ by application version, operating system characteristics, connection parameters, activity schedule and session stability. Risk systems may also identify relationships between accounts that repeatedly operate from the same infrastructure.

A common mistake is to use an identical configuration across dozens of profiles:
